Mohan Babu University, Tirupati, celebrated its 3rd Convocation on 29 August 2026, marking a significant milestone in its academic journey. A total of 3,516 graduates received their degrees, symbolizing the University’s dedication to academic excellence and holistic student development. The ceremony reflected the institution’s vision of nurturing talent and preparing future leaders across diverse disciplines.
The convocation was presided over by Chancellor Dr. M. Mohan Babu, whose leadership continues to inspire the University community. The Chief Guest, Dr. A. C. Shanmugam, Chancellor of Dr. M.G.R. Educational & Research Institute, Chennai, graced the occasion with his presence. Honorary Doctorates were conferred upon Sri. Rajeev Shukla, Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) and Vice President of BCCI, and Sri. Paresh Maity, Padma Shri Awardee and renowned Indian artist. The Guests of Honour included Mrs. Anuradha Prasad, Sri. Vishnu Manchu, Sri. Vinay Maheshwari, Dr. P. Venkata Ramana, and Dr. K. Saradhi, whose participation added prestige and dignity to the ceremony.
A highlight of the convocation was the outstanding performance of women scholars, who accounted for 75% of this year’s academic toppers. Their remarkable success stood as a testament to determination, empowerment, and the University’s commitment to fostering equal opportunities.
