The Department has been expanding its capability in research and development. Research centers have been established by the Department to conduct research in inter disciplinary and multi-disciplinary areas such as MEMS and Nanoelectronics, VLSI & Embedded Systems Communication and Signal Processing. In addition, the Department has created conducive environment to do research in areas like IoT, Automation, NEMS.
