Mohan Babu University has entered into a significant collaboration with LinkedIn to provide institution-wide access to LinkedIn Learning for its students, faculty members and researchers.
Under the collaboration, more than 25,000 expert-led courses will be made available to the university community through the institution’s login platform. Learners will also have access to verified certifications and personalised learning pathways designed to align academic development with evolving industry requirements.
A Formal meeting was held at the Dasari Auditorium on 2nd September to mark the collaboration between Mohan Babu University (MBU) and LinkedIn Learning. The MoU was signed by the delegates from LinkedIn and University officials of MBU. Sri Vishnu Manchu, Pro-Chancellor; Sri Vinay Maheshwari, Executive Director of SVET; Dr. P. Venkatramana, Vice-Chancellor; and Dr. K. Saradhi, Registrar, participated in the meeting, which was attended by the Deans and Heads of various Departments.
The LinkedIn Learning resources cover a wide range of emerging and high-demand areas, including Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Cloud Computing, Design and Leadership, among others. The platform will be accessible to learners around the clock, enabling them to pursue professional development alongside their academic programmes.
The initiative is aimed at strengthening the connection between classroom education and industry expectations by providing learners with access to current, industry-relevant knowledge and skills.
University officials said the collaboration will help students and faculty members enhance their professional competencies, stay abreast of emerging technologies and prepare for the changing demands of the global workforce.
The partnership marks another step towards strengthening digital learning and creating greater opportunities for the MBU community to acquire skills that can support their academic, professional and career aspirations.
