Prof. P. V. Ramana
Prof. P. Venkatramana is a distinguished academician, accomplished researcher, and an experienced administrator, currently serving as the Vice Chancellor (In-charge) of Mohan Babu University, Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. With over 27 years of rich experience in academia, research and institutional leadership, he has played a pivotal role in shaping academic systems, strengthening governance, and promoting excellence in higher education. Prior to this role, he has been serving as Dean (Academic Affairs) and Professor of Electronics & Communication Engineering at Mohan Babu University. In this capacity, he has been instrumental in curriculum design and development, introduction of new academic programs, and spearheading accreditation processes. He has also held additional responsibilities as Dean (Academics) for Sree Vidyanikethan Engineering College and has been a key member of the university’s statutory bodies.
Ph.D. in Communication & Signal Processing from Sri Venkateswara University, Prof. Ramana has strong research expertise in Communications, Signal Processing, and Micro & Nanoelectronics, with good publications in reputed SCOPUS and SCIE-indexed journals. Under his leadership, Mohan Babu University has introduced several interdisciplinary programs and established state-of-the-art laboratories, fostering a robust academic and research ecosystem. He has also played a key role in securing grants from agencies to enhance teaching-learning practices and promote a culture of continuous academic improvement.
