Nurturing leadership qualities

The inauguration was marked by heartfelt gratitude toward Mohan Babu University for providing world-class infrastructure and support. As the camp progressed, it became clear that this was a transformative journey. For ten days, cadets stepped into a routine that mirrors the discipline of military life. Physical training sessions, weapon handling, firing practice, and drill movements formed the foundation of their daily activities. The shared experience fostered teamwork and resilience, while also nurturing leadership qualities. For many cadets, this camp was more than just training—it was a gateway to the prestigious Thal Sainik Camp (TSC). The selection process for TSC added excitement and challenge, with cadets competing in specialized areas such as map reading, obstacle training, judging distance, and health and hygiene. Those who excelled stood a chance to represent their battalion at higher levels, aiming for the national stage.

The vision of Viksit Bharat

The camp was not limited to physical and tactical exercises. Intellectual growth and social awareness were equally emphasized. Guest lectures introduced cadets to pressing contemporary issues and innovations, including cyber security, drone technology, women’s empowerment, and social service. These sessions encouraged cadets to think critically about their role in society and the future of the nation. The vision of Viksit Bharat—a developed India by 2047—was woven into the program, inspiring participants to align their energy with the country’s long-term aspirations

The cadets were not only trained in discipline and resilience but also shaped into responsible citizens ready to serve the nation. For them, these ten days were about more than drills and lectures—they were about becoming leaders of tomorrow, prepared to carry forward the values of courage, conviction, and national pride.
