A Webinar on “Smart Financial Planning for Academic Professionals” was organized on 04 October 2025 at Room No. 4001, Seminar Hall, New Academic Building. The session aimed to promote financial literacy and long-term economic security among educators, aligning with the UN SDGs — No Poverty (SDG 1), Quality Education (SDG 4), Decent Work and Economic Growth (SDG 8), Reduced Inequalities (SDG 10), and Responsible Consumption and Production (SDG 12).
Ms. Nitu Lohiya, Chartered Accountant and SEBI-Empanelled SMARTs Trainer from Pagdandi Sansthan, Jodhpur, served as the resource person. She guided participants on budgeting, savings, investment strategies, retirement planning, and risk management, emphasizing the importance of responsible financial practices for personal and professional stability.
The webinar recorded the participation of 75 academic professionals from various institutions. The interactive session enabled participants to gain practical insights into financial planning and sustainable money management. The event was well-received and effectively promoted financial awareness and empowerment among educators.
