About the Event

The Idea Club organized an innovation icebreaker activity titled “Think Beyond” on 19 August 2026 at R.No.4419, NAB. The event aimed to encourage students to develop creative, lateral, and innovative thinking skills. The activity helped participants progress from creative idea generation to practical solution development

Innovative solutions and explanations

Dr. B. Ujwala, Assistant Professor, School of Commerce and Management, coordinated the event. A total of 40 students actively participated in the activity. They conducted the event in two rounds. In the first round, students explored alternative uses for everyday objects such as paper cups, newspapers, bottles, and boxes. They presented their best three ideas within the given time. In the second round, students addressed real-life campus problems like food wastage, electricity misuse, and late arrivals. They pitched innovative solutions with clear explanations of problems, beneficiaries, and implementation possibilities. The activity highlighted the importance of creativity and practical problem-solving.

Takeaways by Participants

Students shared positive feedback about the activity. They appreciated the chance to think differently and develop unconventional ideas. Many participants expressed that the event improved their ability to identify problems and design practical solutions.
