The Techknow Club of MBU successfully organized a Tech Talk event on 17 March 2025from 10:00AM -12:00 PM in Room No.2455 in the Dept. of Computer Applications. The session, held exclusively for students of the School of Computing, focused on the theme “The Internet of Things in Action.” The primary objective of the event was to introduce students to real-world applications of IoT and enhance their presentation skills, equipping them with valuable knowledge to become better software professionals.
The programme was coordinated by the faculty coordinator, P. Yasminbhanu. Nearly 40 students from I BCA participated in this event. The event commenced with an insightful introduction to the concept of IoT and its significance in various industries and daily life. Students explored how IoT connects everyday objects and devices to the internet, enabling them to collect, share, and exchange data efficiently. Through interactive discussions and engaging presentations, students delved into the benefits of IoT.
The session provided students with an excellent platform to showcase their ideas through PowerPoint Presentations, fostering their confidence in public speaking and technical discussions. These presentations encouraged analytical thinking and collaborative learning among peers.
The event proved to be an engaging and insightful event, leaving a lasting impact on the participants. By organizing more such events, the club aims to bring out the hidden potential within every student, preparing them for future advancements in technology.
