Teamwork and creativity Through Short Filmmaking

The FYE Club of the Department of ECE organized the Short Film Challenge on 7 April 2026. The event was conducted from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with active participation from second and third-year students. The challenge aimed to engage students with vibrant thoughts and creative filmmaking skills. Participants were tested on creativity, teamwork, and technical ability within a limited timeframe of 72 hours.
Showcasing Talent by Creating Short Films
Ms. D. Harika, Faculty coordinator, guided the program with support from student coordinators, G. Rupesh Sai, M. Firoz Shah, MMD. Munof, T. Sriman, and E. Karthik Akhil. A total of 50 students participated enthusiastically in the challenge. The event included theme announcement, scriptwriting, planning, shooting, editing, and post-production. Students showcased their talent by creating short films under mandatory constraints such as theme, genre, prop, or dialogue. The program highlighted the importance of creativity and humor in storytelling.

The participants appreciated the opportunity to explore filmmaking within a limited timeframe. They also reported improved storytelling and technical skills through the challenge. Further, they valued the collaborative environment that fostered teamwork and networking. The feedback emphasized that the event encouraged creativity under pressure and boosted confidence.
