
The Toastmasters Club of MBU hosted a lively and refreshing event titled “Laugh Out Loud” on Friday, 17th October 2025, from 2:45 PM to 4:45 PM at Room 506 in the MNS Block. The event was designed to offer students a joyful break from their academic routine, bringing together laughter, creativity, and connection in a relaxed setting.
The event was aimed at promoting mental wellness and encouraging students to express themselves freely through humour. The event created a space where students could unwind, share spontaneous moments, and build a sense of community through light-hearted interactions and creative performances.
Dr. K. Manigandan, Coordinator of the Toastmasters Club, led the session with warmth and wit. His engaging commentary on communication, confidence, and the power of laughter set the tone for the event. A total of 59 students participated, and their energy and enthusiasm made the session truly memorable. They performed with great spirit, showcasing their creativity and public speaking skills in a supportive and cheerful atmosphere.
The event featured interactive segments that blended comedy with meaningful messages. Students took part in humorous storytelling, impromptu speaking, and playful activities that encouraged them to think creatively while having fun. The session highlighted how laughter can be a powerful tool for building confidence, reducing stress, and strengthening peer connections. The event also helped boost morale and fostered a sense of belonging among students.
The organizers expressed heartfelt thanks to all the participants for their enthusiastic involvement and cheerful spirit. “Laugh Out Loud” was a celebration of joy, creativity, and togetherness—reinforcing the Toastmasters Club’s commitment to nurturing confident communicators and a vibrant campus community.
