Innovative Tale Talks: Unleashing Creativity Through Storytelling

The Readers Club of MBU hosted an engaging event titled “Innovative Tale Talks” on 17 March 2025 from 2.30 PM to 4.30 PM in Room No. 230, East Block. The event aimed to inspire creativity and encourage participants to think creatively and explore new narrative techniques through storytelling. It provided a dynamic platform for participants to share their experiences while enhancing their public speaking and refining storytelling abilities.

 A total of 30 students from I and II of the ECE & EIE branches actively participated in this event. It was organized by the student coordinators under the guidance of faculty coordinator Dr. M. Bharathi, assistant professor, Dept. of ECE.

The event was divided into five interactive rounds, each designed to challenge the participants’ creativity, critical thinking, and communication skills. The first round was “Troubleshooting and Triumph.” The second round was “Frames of Wisdom.” The third round was “Echoes of Past.” The fourth round was “Brain Drain” The fifth round was “The Legendary Saga Veera Charitra”

In the first round, the groups were given a question to discuss like a debate. In the second round, the groups were given three pictures; they needed to find the story behind them. In the third round, the students were given a story clip; they needed to answer the questions from the clip. In the fourth round, the students were given riddles to solve. In the fifth round, the students were given a missing blank in a dialogue to complete it.

 The event was highly interactive with students actively engaging in discussions, fostering a supportive network and participants can continue exchanging ideas and collaborating after the event. Overall, the event was engaging, entertaining, and greatly appreciated by the students.
