Innovative Strides in Sustainable Mobility: Regenerative E-Cycle Demonstration

April 23

The Automotive Club of Mohan Babu University successfully conducted a demonstration of Regenerative E-Cycle on 23rd April 2025 in CAMS Lab, Room No. 2503. The event aimed to introduce students to the fundamental concepts of operating a regenerative electric bicycle, a novel application of sustainable mobility and green energy technology.

The session was conducted by Mr. Ramesh, a faculty member with expertise in electric mobile systems, alongside his students. The demonstration provided an in-depth explanation of the essential components of the regenerative E-cycle, including the Electric Motor, Regenerative Braking System, Battery Storage Unit, and Control Circuitry. The participants gained hands-on experience in understanding how kinetic energy, normally lost during braking, can be converted into electrical energy for battery recharging. The practical dimensions of energy efficiency and the environmental advantages of the system were highlighted, providing a significant educational experience for all attendees.

The demonstration successfully fulfilled its objectives, enlightening students on advanced energy recovery mechanisms in electric bicycles. The engaging and informative presentation by Mr. Ramesh encouraged interaction, discussion, and clarification of doubts.

The program was both informative and motivating, emphasizing the possibilities of integrating renewable energy into daily transportation. Dr. N. Anantha Krishna, faculty coordinator of the club, thanked the demonstrator for orchestrating the session and delivering a captivating and enlightening presentation. The participants clarified their doubts and interacted with the demonstrator.

The initiative reinforced the importance of sustainable mobility and its integration into future engineering projects. Overall, the demonstration proved to be an immensely valuable experience, enriching students with technical knowledge and hands-on exposure to advancements in the field. It has set a benchmark for future projects, reinforcing the importance of innovation, technical excellence, and collaborative learning in engineering education.

The students are completely immersed in the captivating lecture on the innovative E-Cycle.
The students keenly explore the innovative and futuristic design of the E-Cycle, marveling at its ingenuity and sleek engineering.
