The inaugural function of the IETE club of MBU was held on March 20, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM in the Dasari Auditorium. The event aimed to introduce the club to students, highlighting its objectives of fostering technical excellence, innovation, and collaboration among aspiring engineers.
The function was coordinated by Dr. TVV Satyanarayana under the guidance of the Head of the Department, ECE, and with the support of all faculty members. Their collective efforts ensured the smooth execution of the event. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students of the second, third, and final years of the Department of ECE.
Prof. K. Karunakaran, the vice chancellor of Mohan Babu University, presided over the function, encouraging students to actively engage in the club’s activities to enhance their communication and problem-solving skills, thereby strengthening their technical and professional competencies. Additionally, Prof. A. Srinivasulu, Dean of Research and Innovation, motivated students to participate in the club’s initiatives, emphasizing the valuable learning and growth opportunities it offers to the active members.
The chief guest, Dr. T. Rama Sree, professor in the Department of ECE at Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati, delivered an insightful address on the significance of the IETE Club. She urged students to actively attend and engage in all club events to maximize their learning experience.
As a mark of recognition for their outstanding dedication and invaluable contributions to the IETE Club, final-year students S. Manikanta and P. Mahendra were honored with certificates. Their efforts played a crucial role in shaping the club’s vision and activities. The recognition not only celebrated their achievements but also served as an inspiration for other students to actively participate in the club’s initiatives and strive for excellence in their academic and professional pursuits.
The inaugural function marked the beginning of an exciting journey for the IETE Club at MBU, setting the stage for numerous enriching activities that will foster innovation, collaboration, and skill development among students.
