About the Club and Event

The Young Caliber Club, Department of ECE, organized the event “GATE Spirit: Gateway to Engineering Excellence” on 23rd July 2026 at 9:30 AM in the department. The event aimed to motivate students to prepare for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) and to explore higher education and career opportunities.

Event Coordination and Student Participation

Faculty coordinator Ms. Nune Divya guided the program with the support of student coordinators K. Bhavana, M.S. Pravallika, Abhilash, Siddharth, and S.P. Saniya Bhanu. A total of 66 students actively participated in the session. The event highlighted the importance of the GATE examination, explained its eligibility criteria, exam pattern, and preparation strategies. Students learned about opportunities after qualifying, including admissions to premier institutes, PSU recruitment, research programs, and higher studies. The session encouraged students to adopt systematic preparation methods and to focus on career planning.
