FYE Club Puzzle-Solving Challenge: Unlocking Minds

March 21

The Department of Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering and Computer Science and Engineering organized an event, “puzzle-solving challenge,” on March 21, 2025, from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM for 2nd year B. Tech EIE students at Mohan Babu University. This event aims to promote teamwork, creativity, problem-solving skills, and quick response among the students.

The FYE Club Puzzle-Solving Challenge was an exciting and engaging event where students came together to test their problem-solving skills. Participants were tasked with solving a series of challenging puzzles that required teamwork, creativity, and critical thinking. The event aimed to foster collaboration and enhance mental agility, offering a fun and competitive atmosphere for all participants. A total of 36 students participated in the activity.  Three engaging and interactive activities were conducted in the college classroom.

The event consists of three exciting rounds:

  1. Guess the Image
  2. Wrong Answers Only
  3. Memory Challenge

Guess the Image: In this interactive game, participants attempt to identify an image based on clues or a partially revealed picture. It enhances observation skills, critical thinking, and teamwork while adding an element of fun and challenge. This activity is widely used for entertainment, education, and team-building.

Wrong Answers Only: In this round, participants must deliberately provide incorrect and humorous answers to the given questions. The goal is to be as creative, witty, and entertaining as possible—the wilder the response, the better. This round encourages out-of-the-box thinking among participants and the students.

Memory Challenge: In this round, three teams will compete to remember and accurately repeat a given sequence of words one by one. Each team must recall the words in the correct order; a single mistake leads to elimination. As the challenge progresses, the last two remaining teams will compete for the winner and runner-up positions. Stay focused, sharp memory, and the best team win.

Mrs. Chekuri Nalini, Assistant Professor at the School of Engineering, is the faculty coordinator who organized and executed the event. The student coordinators are T. Chandana, A. Likith Reddy, M. Jagadeesh, G. Rupesh, J. Teja Srinivas, K. Vignesh, P. Jeneeliya, B. Maha Teja, S. Shawn Sohan, and E. Mahesh.
