The ToT (Transfer of Technology) Club of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences at Mohan Babu University successfully conducted a technology transfer visit to Swarnamukhi Women Mutually Aided Cooperative Society Limited in Chandragiri on 11 March 2025 from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM. The primary objective of the activity was to educate both students and cooperative members on how technological interventions and collective action can elevate rural livelihoods.
Dr. A. Nikhitha, the Faculty Coordinator, organized the visit with the objective of connecting academic knowledge to grassroots-level implementation. The initiative saw enthusiastic participation from 11 members, reinforcing its goal of bridging the gap between theory and practice.
Students presented various processing techniques and market access strategies, emphasizing how such advancements can significantly enhance productivity and sustainability within cooperative frameworks. An engaging interaction followed, where students and cooperative members exchanged ideas on incorporating developed skills and sustainability practices into daily operations. The discussion also shed light on improving market access, encouraging the adoption of technology tailored to rural enterprise needs.
