Exploring Data Science with R Studio – A Student Centered Workshop

The Ramanujan Club of MBU organized a workshop on R Studio for data analysis on 31 March 2026 at the ED Cell. The event aimed to provide students with practical knowledge of programming and visualization. The workshop introduced participants to modern tools used in data science and research, helping them strengthen analytical and problem-solving skills.

Importance of R Studio

CH Bhavitha, Assistant Professor, coordinated the workshop with active support from faculty members. The resource person, Dr. P. Bhavana, conducted the session and guided 40 participants through interactive training. Students learned data handling techniques, visualization methods, and statistical computing using R Studio. The afternoon session included a mini project where participants analyzed datasets and presented insights. This activity encouraged collaborative learning and improved confidence in applying data-driven methods. The workshop proved valuable in promoting practical skills beyond classroom learning.
