Entrepreneurial Minds at Work: Start-up Sparks Quiz

The Idea Club of Mohan Babu University organized a “Start-up Sparks” quiz event on 11th April 2025 from 10.00 A.M. to 12.00 P.M. at the Seminar Hall in the New Academic Block. This session aimed to enhance students’ understanding of start-ups, find out about successful entrepreneurs, and learn the logos and taglines of the companies.

The session was organized by student coordinators N. Roshini (I-MBA), V. Hruthika (I-MBA), and Khushi Rajpurohit (I-B.Com) under the supervision of faculty member Dr. D. Subramanyam. The competition witnessed an enthusiastic participation of more than 150 students. The participants were divided into five different groups [A, B, C, D, and E], and each team enthusiastically participated throughout the event. The event provided an excellent platform for students to test and expand their knowledge in entrepreneurship, company logos, and taglines.

The quiz comprised three rounds, each designed to assess the participants’ grasp of knowledge in a particular area.  The first round was a quiz on entrepreneurs and their companies. After completion of the first round, two teams were disqualified; the remaining three teams were qualified to the second round. After the completion of the second round, two teams were qualified for the final round.

The final round was very interesting and made the final two teams stressful for the winning position. After a highly competitive and exciting contest, the B group emerged as the winners of the event, securing the first prize. Their remarkable performance showcased a strong understanding of subject knowledge of that group. All teams have given their best in each and every round, which made the event more successful and entertaining.

The event was not only a test of knowledge but also an opportunity for students to enhance their analytical and decision-making skills. It successfully ignited a sense of curiosity and learning among participants, aligning with the Idea Club’s mission to promote financial literacy and academic excellence.

Overall, the event was a great success, which made the participants knowledgeable and also made them learn new things. The Idea Club extends its heartfelt appreciation to all the participants, organizers, and faculty members for their contribution in making this event a grand success.
