The First Aid Force Club of MBU organized an insightful workshop on “Emergency pre- hospital care services” on April 21, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the MNS Block 822. The event aimed to enhance students’ understanding of life-saving techniques and the importance of quick response during medical emergencies.
The workshop featured five student teams, each presenting different emergency scenarios, including accidents, drowning, choking, sudden death scenarios and hospital emergency care. Through these scenarios, students demonstrated Cardio – Pulmonary Resuscitation, Basic Life Support and Emergency care skills.
To complement the practical demonstrations, students prepared informative charts and visual displays covering various aspects of emergency care. These presentations were designed using simple language, eye-catching visuals which making them accessible to a wider audience. The initiative significantly improved public awareness and helped students gain a deeper understanding of emergency pre-hospital care.
A key highlight of the workshop was the hands-on training provided to the students. They learned essential life-saving techniques such as CPR, bleeding control, and fracture immobilization. The interactive nature of the training allowed participants to practice these skills, boosting their confidence in handling real-life emergencies. Many students reported feeling more confident and capable of assisting in critical situations.
With 50 students participating, the workshop successfully fostered a culture preparedness and responsibility in emergency care. By equipping students with practical knowledge and skills, the event reinforced the importance of quick and effective response during medical emergencies.
