The Breath Easy Club, School of Paramedical and Allied Health Care Sciences of MBU, organized an engaging and educational session where students presented various case studies to strengthen their diagnostic skills and clinical decision-making. It was held on 28-04-25 from 2:00 to 5:00 PM at Room No.503 in the MNS Block. The event encouraged professional communication and teamwork among students.
The session commenced with an inspiring address by Faculty Coordinator R.S. Angeline Yehudhiya, Assistant Professor at SOPAHC. She warmly welcomed the participants and explained the significance of clinical case studies in shaping future healthcare professionals. Setting the stage for an enriching discussion, she applauded the students’ dedication to learning and encouraged them that the exchange of ideas would enhance their diagnostic abilities.
Each participant shared either a real or simulated clinical case, focusing on important aspects such as patient history, physical examination, diagnostic tests, possible diagnoses, final conclusions, treatment plans, and patient outcomes. The presentations were detailed and well-structured, allowing students to showcase their medical knowledge and reasoning abilities.
The event was highly interactive, with students confidently explaining their cases while also responding to questions and feedback from faculty members. The discussions helped deepen understanding of essential medical concepts and their practical application in real-world scenarios. Faculty members provided valuable insights and constructive suggestions, further enriching the learning experience.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks, acknowledging the efforts of all participants and organizers. A total of 65 students took part in this enriching session, guided by the club coordinator. The event successfully fulfilled its purpose of strengthening clinical skills and fostering a collaborative learning environment.
