About the Event
The TAIT Club of MBU organized an event titled “Merge Minds with Git & GitHub” on 5 March 2026 at the NAB Block. The event aimed to introduce students to collaborative software development using Git and GitHub. The Role of Git & GitHub
Ms. C. Nithisha, Assistant Professor, School of Computing, coordinated the event with dedication. A total of 78 students participated with enthusiasm and energy. The sessions explained how Git tracks code changes and how GitHub supports collaboration among developers. Students learned about branching strategies, pull requests, and merging contributions effectively. The event emphasized the importance of teamwork in coding and showed how developers can avoid conflicts while working together. It highlighted the role of GitHub in issue tracking, project boards, and transparent documentation.
