Bull & Bear: Empowering Students with Stock Market Insights

About the Event
The Coding Club of MBU organized an event titled “Bull & Bear – Decode the Stock Market” on 13 March 2026. The event took place at the School of Computing, Department of AIML. It aimed to introduce students to the fundamentals of financial markets and their role in shaping businesses and economies. The session focused on enhancing financial literacy, analytical thinking, and responsible understanding of economic systems.
Interactive Session on Stocks
Mr. Ranjeet Kumar, Assistant Professor, coordinated the event with great dedication and clarity. A total of 210 students actively participated and engaged with the interactive session. The program explained financial market basics, IPOs, trading types, and analytical approaches like fundamental and technical analysis. Students explored real-world insights and discussed how markets influence economic activities. The event highlighted the importance of financial awareness and prepared students for future opportunities in finance and entrepreneurship.
Knowledge Gained by Attendees
The Participants appreciated the clarity of explanations and the interactive approach used throughout the session. They reported improved understanding of market structures, trading concepts, and analytical methods. Many students valued the opportunity to discuss and share knowledge with peers during the event. They also expressed curiosity to explore finance further and requested more such educational sessions. The feedback strongly emphasized the relevance of the topics and the responsible learning environment provided.
