Awareness Program on Antibiotic Resistance through Skit Performance
About the Event
The science Club, the Department of Biological and Chemical Sciences organized a skit titled ‘Doctor, Patient & The Resistant Invader’ on 13 April 2026. The program took place in Room No. 716, MNS Block, with the aim of creating awareness about antibiotic resistance. IV B.Sc. Biotechnology students actively participated in the event and highlighted the dangers of antibiotic misuse.
Mrs. S. Vasiha Anjum, Assistant Professor, coordinated the program with the support from the student coordinators. A total of 40 students attended the event. The students performed a creative skit that included roles of doctor, patient, bacteria, and family members. The performance explained how misuse and overuse of antibiotics lead to resistant bacteria. The event emphasized the importance of responsible healthcare practices.
