CIRCUITRIX 2025: A Creative Circuitry Challenge for Budding Engineers

October 23

The Technocrats Club of the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering under Team ACME, organized an exciting and interactive event titled “CIRCUITRIX” on 23rd October 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM in the department. The event brought together curious minds from the 2nd and 3rd year ECE students, creating a vibrant atmosphere of learning and collaboration.

CIRCUITRIX was designed with a clear purpose — to help students strengthen their technical understanding and sharpen their logical thinking through hands-on challenges. The event encouraged participants to move beyond textbooks and apply their classroom knowledge in real-time problem-solving scenarios, making learning both fun and meaningful.

The event was guided by faculty coordinator Dr. TVS Gowtham Prasad, with enthusiastic support from student coordinators M.S. Pravallika, Kuruba Bhavana, Siddharth, and Hemanth. A total of 50 students took part in the competition, showing great energy and commitment throughout the activity. Their active involvement and teamwork added life to the event and made each round engaging and competitive.

It featured two thoughtfully planned rounds. In the first round, students tackled K- maps and translated them into logic gate diagrams under time pressure — a task that tested both their speed and accuracy in digital circuit design. The second round shifted focus to hardware knowledge, where participants answered quiz questions related to components and their applications. This blend of theory and practice helped students connect concepts with real-world relevance.

The event left a lasting impact on participants. It boosted their technical confidence, improved their analytical thinking, and encouraged collaboration. Many students discovered a renewed interest in electronics and felt inspired to explore more in the field. The experience also helped them manage time better and think critically under pressure — skills that are valuable both in academics and beyond.

At the end of the event, the organizers warmly thanked all the participants for their spirited involvement. Their enthusiasm and willingness to learn made CIRCUITRIX a memorable success. The Technocrats team looks forward to hosting more such events that spark curiosity and build strong foundations in electronics.

The students were deeply engaged in solving K- maps and converting them into logic gate diagrams, all within a tight time frame.

The students remained actively engaged throughout the competition, displaying great energy and commitment.
