
The Sports and Cultural Club of MBU organized an informative and interactive session titled “Digital Awareness & Safe Internet Use” on 20 September,2025 in ZPH School, Narasiga Puram of Chandragiri Mandal . It was specially designed for school students and aimed to create awareness about responsible digital behaviour in today’s technology-driven world.
The main goal of the event was to help young learners understand the importance of using the internet safely and responsibly. It focused on key areas such as cyber hygiene, digital ethics, online privacy, and the dangers of cyber threats like phishing and misuse of technology. The session also aimed to promote responsible digital citizenship and encourage students to think critically about their online actions.
The event was coordinated by Dr. K. Hari Krishna, Associate Professor from the Department of CSE, School of Computing. A total of 75 participants took part in the session with great enthusiasm. MBU students played an active role in organizing and presenting the session. They visited ZPH School, Narasiga Puram of Chandragiri Mandal and conducted a seminar to the school children in their school. They explained concepts clearly, answered questions patiently, and created a friendly environment for learning. Their efforts were appreciated by both school teachers and school students.
The session was conducted in a simple and engaging format. It included presentations, real-life examples, and open discussions. School students were encouraged to ask questions and share their experiences, which made the session lively and relatable. The activity helped participants understand how to protect their personal information, avoid online risks, and use technology in a safe and ethical way.
Students shared that the session helped them become more aware of digital safety and gave them practical tips they could apply in daily life. MBU students also felt that the event improved their communication and leadership skills. It was a great opportunity for them to interact with younger audiences and build confidence in public speaking.
At the end of the session, the organizers thanked all the participants for their active involvement and positive spirit. Their energy and curiosity made the event a success. The Sports and Cultural Club expressed its appreciation to everyone who contributed and looks forward to organizing more such sessions that promote learning, safety, and responsible digital habits.
