The Coding Cub of MBU, in collaboration with the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, organized a hands-on workshop titled “The Art of Prompting: AI Skills for Innovators.” on 23rd September 2025. The event brought together students and faculty for a day of learning, creativity, and collaboration. The session began in the morning and continued through the day with engaging activities and discussions.
The main goal of the event was to help participants understand the power of prompting in AI. It aimed to build awareness around how prompts can be used effectively to interact with AI tools. The workshop encouraged participants to think creatively, solve problems, and share ideas with one another. It also focused on developing practical skills that are useful in academic research, content creation, and professional tasks.
The workshop was coordinated by Mr. Ranjeet Kumar, Assistant Professor from the Department of AIML. A total of 59 participants took part in the event with great enthusiasm. Students actively engaged in all the sessions, asked thoughtful questions, and worked together on various exercises. Their energy and curiosity made the event lively and productive.
The activities were designed to be interactive and practical. Participants were introduced to the basics of prompting, followed by real-time exercises where they created and tested their own prompts. These sessions helped them understand how to guide AI tools to produce meaningful and accurate results. The importance of prompting in today’s digital world was clearly highlighted, especially in areas like innovation, education, and industry.
By the end of the workshop, participants had gained a strong understanding of how prompting works and how it can be applied in different fields.
