Building the Future with AI: AI Builder Sparks Creativity and Skill

September 17

The Data Club of MBU, the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, the School of Computing,  organized an exciting event titled AI Builder on 17th September 2025. The event was held at the TGR Auditorium, MNS Block, and brought together students eager to explore the world of Artificial Intelligence in a hands-on and engaging way.

The main aim of the AI Builder event was to introduce students to AI tools and show how they can be used to solve real-world problems. It focused on encouraging creativity, innovation, and practical thinking. The event was designed to help students move beyond theory and gain confidence in applying AI concepts to projects, research, and future technologies.

The event was coordinated by Ms. K. Sandhya, Assistant Professor, Department of AI & ML. A total of 97 students participated, showing great enthusiasm and energy throughout the session. Their active involvement and teamwork made the event lively and productive, with many students stepping up to share ideas and solve challenges.

The workshop was conducted in three stages. First, students attended an orientation session on AI tools and their applications. Next, they worked in teams to develop prototypes based on given problem statements. Finally, each group presented their solutions before a panel. This structure helped students understand the full cycle of problem-solving—from learning the tools to building solutions and communicating their ideas effectively.

Participants gained valuable hands-on experience with AI tools and learned how to approach problems with a creative and analytical mindset. They improved their technical skills, presentation abilities, and teamwork. Many students shared that the event boosted their confidence and inspired them to apply AI concepts in their academic projects and future innovations.

At the end of the session, the organizers thanked all the participants for their active involvement and positive spirit. The faculty appreciated the smooth coordination and the enthusiasm shown by the students. The event was a great success, leaving students motivated and excited to explore more in the field of Artificial Intelligence.

The participants immersed themselves wholeheartedly in the activity, reflecting genuine interest and enthusiasm.
