Circuitrix 2025: A Spark of Logic and Teamwork

September 19

The Electro Affinity club, the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering of MBU, organized a vibrant and an exciting event titled “Circuitrix – Guess the Mess” on 19th September 2025. The event was held in Room No. 334 and brought together students from II and III year B.Tech EEE for a fun and challenging session focused on circuit troubleshooting. The aim of the event was to sharpen students’ technical thinking and problem-solving skills by putting their classroom knowledge to the test.

The event was coordinated by Ms. Gogula Vyshnavi, Assistant Professor, with guidance from Dr. M. S. Sujatha, Head of the Department, EEE. A total of 50 students participated, showing great enthusiasm and energy throughout. Student coordinators Sudharshan, Akshaya, Nithish, Keerthana, and Uday played a key role in organizing and managing the event smoothly. The participants were divided into groups and worked together to identify and correct circuit errors, demonstrating strong collaboration and technical focus.

Each group was given a unique circuit challenge that required both theoretical understanding and practical troubleshooting. Students had to analyze the faulty connections, discuss possible solutions, and fix the circuits within a limited time. The activity encouraged creativity and teamwork, and after careful evaluation, three groups were awarded first, second, and third prizes for their innovative approach and active participation.

The event helped students understand the importance of complex circuit networks and how to approach them with confidence. It gave them a chance to apply classroom concepts to real-world inspired problems, boosting their technical skills and collaborative spirit. Many participants shared that they enjoyed the challenge and felt more confident in handling circuit-related tasks.

At the end of the session, the organizers expressed heartfelt thanks to all the participants for their enthusiastic involvement. The faculty appreciated the smooth coordination by the student team, and the event was celebrated as a successful step toward practical learning and peer collaboration.

The student coordinators played a key role in ensuring the smooth organization and seamless management of the event.
