Mohan Babu University (MBU) celebrated its much-awaited Annual Day with grandeur, joy, and cinematic brilliance in the Sree Vidyanikethan International School grounds. The event commenced at 6:00 p.m. in a beautifully decorated venue that radiated festive spirit. The evening was graced by eminent personalities from the Indian film industry, including directors Sri Srikanth Odela, Sri Ajay Bhupathi, Sri Praveen Kandregula, and celebrated actors Sri Raghu Babu and Sri Sapthagiri, whose presence added glamour and excitement to the celebration.
The program opened with the Annual Report presentation by Prof. Nagaraj Ramrao, Vice-Chancellor of MBU, who highlighted the university’s notable achievements during 2025–26. He also introduced the Deans, Heads of Departments, and leaders of various wings of the institution. Following this, Pro-Chancellor Manchu Vishnu addressed the students, encouraging them to pursue quality education with discipline and reminding them of their responsibility as future leaders.
Students showcased their talents through vibrant cultural performances that were met with enthusiastic applause. The lively programs reflected the spirit and creativity of the MBU community. The Chancellor Dr. Manchu Mohan Babu, Pro-Chancellor Manchu Vishnu, and Executive Director Vinay Maheswari felicitated the distinguished guests with garlands and shawls. The guests of honour then distributed gold medals to academic toppers from Sree Vidyanikethan Institutions and Mohan Babu University.
In his concluding speech, Dr. Manchu Mohan Babu, Chancellor of MBU, advised students to study diligently, secure good jobs, respect their parents, and bring pride to the institution. His words inspired the gathering and instilled renewed energy in the MBU family. The program concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Dr. T. Deva Raju, Dean Students Affairs, who expressed gratitude to students, faculty, and non-teaching staff for their collective efforts in making the celebration a grand success. The evening ended with the grandeur fire works and National Anthem.
