  • Applicants with patents, technology transfer, consultancy projects, or industrial problem-solving experience will be given preference.
  • Exposure to high-value funded research projects will be an added advantage.
  • Ability to provide academic vision, research leadership, and mentoring to faculty and students.

Essential Requirements

  • B.E./B.Tech. and M.E./M.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering with First Class or equivalent academic record.
  • Ph.D. in the appropriate discipline (Mandatory).
  • Minimum 10 years of teaching / research / industrial experience, of which at least 5 years should be at the level of Associate Professor.
  • Strong post-Ph.D. publication record and experience in guiding Ph.D. scholars.
  • Industry experience, if considered, must be at a senior managerial or technical leadership level, with active involvement in design, development, manufacturing, analysis, quality assurance, innovation, training, publications, or IPR/patents.
  • A person of high energy, integrity, academic authority, and perseverance to lead initiatives.

  • Publications in reputed International / National journals.
  • Experience in research guidance, funded projects, and consultancy.
  • Applicants with patents, industrial consultancy, or applied research exposure will be preferred.
  • Ability to mentor students and junior faculty.

  • M.E./M.Tech. with Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering with specialization in the areas listed above.
