About the Club and Event

The Nutrition Club of MB School of Pharmaceutical Sciences organized World Leprosy Day on 23 January 2026 at the Pharmacy Block. The event was held from 2.00 pm to 3.00 pm and aimed to spread awareness about leprosy among students. The programme focused on causes, symptoms, prevention, and the importance of early diagnosis and treatment. It highlighted that leprosy is a curable disease and stressed the need for timely medical intervention. Students were guided on symptoms, transmission, and preventive measures in a clear and engaging manner.

Coordinator and Participants

Dr. Hari V, Associate Professor, coordinated the programme with dedication and clarity. A total of 45 students attended and actively engaged in the session. The event was organized in a structured way, ensuring smooth flow and effective communication. Students listened attentively and asked questions to deepen their understanding of public health issues.
