The Ramanujan Club of the Department of Mathematics organized a workshop on 23 January 2026. The event titled “Visualizing Mathematics with MATLAB” was held at Room 4101, NAB Block. It aimed to connect mathematical concepts with practical visualization using MATLAB. The workshop encouraged students to appreciate mathematics as a tool for problem solving and innovation.

Ms. Ch. Bhavitha, Assistant Professor and in charge of the Ramanujan Club, coordinated the session. A total of 50 students participated actively in the workshop. They followed instructions carefully and experimented with MATLAB commands during the session. Students presented their outputs confidently and engaged in discussions with enthusiasm. The activity included demonstrations on plotting graphs, visualizing functions, and performing matrix operations. Students practiced these tasks themselves and observed immediate results on screen. This hand on approach helped them connect theory with real time applications. The workshop made mathematics approachable and enjoyable while strengthening technical skills.
