The Photography Club of Mohan Babu University organized a refreshing and creative event titled “Photowalk 2025” on 30th August 2025. The event took place across the university campus, starting 4:00 PM and continuing till the sunset. It brought together students with a shared passion for photography and visual storytelling.
The main aim of the event was to encourage students to explore their surroundings with fresh eyes and capture the beauty of the campus through photography. It was designed to spark creativity, improve observational skills, and help students express themselves artistically. The event also promoted teamwork and appreciation for nature, architecture, and campus life.
The event was coordinated by Dr. C. Ravindra Murthy, Associate Professor, who guided and encouraged the participants throughout the walk. A total of 10 students took part in the activity, each bringing their own unique perspective and enthusiasm. They actively engaged in capturing moments, experimenting with angles, and discussing ideas with one another.
During the photowalk, students explored various scenic spots and architectural highlights of the campus. From lush green gardens to iconic buildings and vibrant student spaces, every corner became a canvas for creativity. Along the way, discussions were held on framing, lighting, and how to tell a story through a single image. The walk was not just about taking pictures—it was about seeing the familiar in a new light.
Participants gained hands-on experience in photography techniques like composition, exposure, and visual storytelling. They learned how to translate what they saw into meaningful images. The event helped them build confidence in their skills and inspired them to think more deeply about the stories behind each photograph.
At the end of the event, the organizers expressed heartfelt thanks to all the participants for their energy and involvement. The students also shared their excitement and suggested more themed photowalks in the future, including wildlife, festivals, and cultural documentation. It was a day filled with learning, laughter, and lens-crafted memories.
