Tech Talk – Where Creativity Meets Collaboration

The TechNova Club, the Department of Computer Science and Engineering of MBU, organized an inspiring event titled “Tech Talk” on 24th September 2025 in the department. The session brought together enthusiastic students to explore new ideas and tackle real-world challenges. The event created a vibrant atmosphere of learning, discussion, and innovation.
The main aim of “Tech Talk” was to encourage students to think creatively and come up with practical solutions to given problem statements. The unique aspect of this event was its emphasis on original thinking without the use of AI tools. It was designed to sharpen students’ critical thinking, enhance their problem-solving abilities, and promote teamwork and collaboration in a purely human-driven environment.
The event was coordinated by Mr. E. VIMALRAJ, Assistant Professor, who guided and supported the participants throughout the session. A total of 60 students took part in the activity. They formed small groups, brainstormed ideas, and worked together to develop feasible solutions. Each team presented their ideas confidently, showcasing their communication and leadership skills.
The activity was conducted in a hands-on, interactive format. Students were given real-world problem statements and encouraged to discuss, debate, and refine their ideas. The focus was on originality and practical thinking. The event also served as a platform for interdisciplinary collaboration, where students from different backgrounds shared knowledge and perspectives.
Participants took away valuable lessons from the event. They improved their analytical thinking, learned how to present ideas clearly, and experienced the power of teamwork. Many students stepped up to lead their groups, gaining confidence and leadership experience. The event helped them realize the importance of thinking independently and creatively.
The organizers expressed heartfelt gratitude to all the participants for their active involvement and enthusiasm. They appreciated the students’ commitment to learning and innovation. The success of “Tech Talk” has set the stage for future editions, with plans to include even more participants and problem statements.
