
The Tech Know Club of the Department of Computer Applications organized an engaging event titled “Tech Talk on AI Tools and Technologies” on 19th September 2025 at MCA Block. The session brought together students to explore the fast-changing world of artificial intelligence. The event created a lively space for learning, sharing, and imagining the future of technology.
The main aim of the Tech Talk was to boost students’ presentation skills and prepare them to become confident software professionals. It focused on helping participants understand the role of AI in today’s digital world and how emerging technologies are shaping industries, businesses, and everyday life. The session encouraged students to think beyond textbooks and explore practical applications of AI, IoT, and open-source tools.
The event was coordinated by Ms. P. Yasmin Bhanu, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Applications. A total of 68 students participated with great enthusiasm. They actively engaged in discussions, shared their ideas, and presented tech-based solutions to real-world problems. Their performance reflected strong interest, curiosity, and a growing awareness of how technology can be used to solve challenges in society.
The activity was conducted in an interactive format, where students were encouraged to explore AI tools and technologies through presentations and discussions. The session highlighted the importance of digital infrastructure, sustainable tech practices, and the potential of turning ideas into startups. It also helped build connections between academia and industry, with insights shared by the faculty coordinator in the beginning of the seesion.
Participants took away valuable lessons from the event. Many students were inspired to think about entrepreneurship and how their ideas could serve industries.
