Students’ Expressions: Creative Sketches of Human Brain

The Pharma club of MBU organized a creative activity titled “Sketch Your Brain” on 22 December 2025 at Room 1507, Pharmacy Block. The purpose of the activity was to provide students with a platform to explore their creativity and thought processes beyond conventional classroom learning. By sketching, students were encouraged to visualize their interests, emotions, and perspectives, thereby promoting self‑expression and critical thinking. The event aimed to highlight how creativity can serve as a bridge between academic learning, personal reflection, and broader life skills.

The event was Coordinated by Dr. V. Hemalatha, Assistant Professor, and  it witnessed enthusiastic participation from 50 students. The atmosphere was vibrant, with students eager to express their ideas and emotions through sketches that reflected their inner thoughts and perspectives.

A total of eight sketches were submitted by students, each unique in its originality, depth of thought, and creative expression. The submissions were evaluated based on creativity, vision, and honesty of self‑expression. To recognize excellence, awards were presented in different categories: Creative Mind Award to Harika (III Pharm D) and M. Kalyani (IV Pharm D); Deep Thinker Award to Sai Sindhu (III Pharm D) and K. Sameer (II Pharm D); Visionary Brain Award  to M. Navya (III Pharm D) and K. Madhavi (II Pharm D); Most Honest Brain Award  to Sunitha and Naga Sivani (IV Pharm D); and Artistic Excellence Award to K. Pavani (II Pharm D). These recognitions celebrated the diverse talents and perspectives of the students.

Academically, it enhanced creativity, critical thinking, and self‑expression, encouraging students to reflect on their learning approaches and interests. From a research perspective, the sketches revealed problem‑solving abilities, innovative thinking, and interdisciplinary curiosity, which can serve as a foundation for creative inquiry. In terms of extension, the activity promoted emotional expression, self‑awareness, and communication skills, while also fostering confidence and participation in co‑curricular and community‑oriented initiatives
