The Finance and Investment Club, the School of Commerce and Management, Mohan Babu University successfully organized an insightful event titled “Financial Planning and Investment—Plan Smart and Invest Smarter” on August 12, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 01:00 PM in Room No. 4319 of the New Academic Building. The event aimed not only to enhance the financial literacy of participants but also to equip them with the confidence to make informed and responsible decisions for long-term financial success.
Coordinated by Dr. Dasari Rajesh Babu, Associate Professor, the session drew enthusiastic participation from 120 students across various programs, reflecting a growing interest in financial literacy and investment awareness. Participants gained valuable knowledge on smart financial planning, investment strategies, and risk assessment. Through interactive discussions and peer learning, students explored real-world applications of financial concepts, bridging the gap between theory and practice.
The event featured student presentations on key financial topics, fostering a dynamic exchange of ideas and practical strategies. Mr. Karthikeya, an MBA second-year student, emerged as the winner with his compelling presentation on financial planning and investment. Ms. Jasmine, a BBA third-year student, was declared runner-up for her insightful analysis on security and portfolio management. Their contributions exemplified the depth of understanding and analytical thinking encouraged throughout the session.
