The Fine Arts Club, the Department of Computer Applications of MBU, organized a lively and creative activity titled “Blindfold Drawing” on 22nd August 2025, from 01:00 PM to 02:00 PM at Room 1806, Diploma Block. The main aim of the activity was to encourage students to think beyond sight and explore the power of communication, memory, and creativity. It was also a way to build trust, coordination, and laughter among peers while learning something new through play.
The event was coordinated by K. Akshya Lakshmi, Asst.Professor, Dept. of CA,. She guided the entire session with warmth and clarity. The event was specially designed for BCA students, bringing together 40 enthusiastic participants for an hour of fun, imagination, and teamwork. The students participated with great energy, showing curiosity and excitement throughout the activity. Their performances were spontaneous, joyful, and filled with creative surprises.
The Blindfold Drawing game involved the participants drawing on the board while blindfolded, relying only on verbal clues given by their teammates. K. Bhumika, the student coordinator, played a key role in explaining the rules and setting the tone for the activity. The participants of the event – K. Bhumika, A. Harshitha, K. Vivek Chowdary, C. Vishnu, and P. Meenakshi enthusiastically drew some images including lighting lamps, mountains, fruits, and kites etc on the board. The results were amusing and impressive.
Participants took away valuable lessons in listening, trusting, and expressing themselves creatively. The activity reminded everyone that learning can be joyful and that teamwork makes even the simplest tasks meaningful. The organizers expressed heartfelt thanks to all participants for their spirited involvement and made special mention of the student volunteers for their wonderful support.
