The Science Club of MBU organized a competitive event, “The BioQuiz 2025,” on 01 August 2025 in Room No. 325 from 10.00 AM to 11.00 AM. It was aimed to promote scientific literacy, encourage academic enthusiasm, and foster a spirit of healthy competition among postgraduate students in the field of life sciences.
S Vasiha Anjum, Assistant Professor, Department of Biological and Chemical Sciences, coordinated this event. Almost 25 MSc students from our university participated in this quiz. All students were eager to showcase their scientific acumen and compete in a spirited academic environment.
Designed to stimulate intellectual curiosity and foster healthy competition, the quiz covered a wide spectrum of topics within the life sciences. Participants tackled challenging questions from various domains of biological sciences, including molecular biology, biochemistry, microbiology, biotechnology, genetics, environmental science, and recent innovations reflecting the interdisciplinary nature of modern biological research.
The competition consisted of multiple rounds, each testing depth of knowledge and analytical thinking. The event not only celebrated academic excellence but also encouraged collaborative learning and peer engagement among students passionate about science.
BioQuiz 2025 served as a vibrant platform for young scholars to deepen their understanding, gain exposure to emerging trends, and build confidence in a competitive yet collegial setting. The enthusiastic participation and high level of preparation demonstrated the students’ commitment to advancing their scientific pursuits.
