Painting a Greener Tomorrow: Artistic Voices on Life on Land

September 12

The Sanskruthi Club, the School of Commerce and Management of MBU, organized a creative event titled Artistic Rendition on the Theme of Life on Land on 12th September 2025. The event was held in the Seminar Hall of the New Academic Block and brought together students with a shared passion for art and environmental awareness. The main aim of the event was to encourage students to think deeply about the importance of protecting life on land. Through painting, they explored themes like biodiversity, forests, wildlife, and the role humans play in preserving nature. The activity was designed to spark creativity while also building awareness about sustainable living and ecological responsibility.

Dr. Mahadevan M, Assistant Professor, served as the faculty coordinator for the event. A total of 20 students participated, each bringing their own unique perspective and artistic style. Their performances were thoughtful and expressive, with paintings that reflected both imagination and concern for the planet. The students worked with focus and enthusiasm, making the event lively and meaningful.

The activity was conducted in a warm and inclusive atmosphere. Participants were given time and space to reflect on the theme and translate their ideas into visual art. The paintings touched on important issues like climate change, conservation, and the need for harmony between humans and nature. The event encouraged teamwork and open discussion, allowing students to learn from one another and appreciate different viewpoints.

For many participants, the event was more than just a painting competition—it was a chance to connect art with purpose. They walked away with a deeper understanding of environmental challenges and a renewed sense of responsibility. The experience also helped them grow in confidence and creativity.

At the end of the event, the organizers expressed heartfelt thanks to all the participants for their sincere efforts and meaningful contributions. Their artwork and ideas added great value to the event and helped spread a powerful message about caring for our planet.

The student coordinator is initiating the painting competition by announcing the theme for the artworks.
