The Science Club of MBU organized an expert lecture on 27 February 2026 at Room No. 519 in the MNS Block. The session focused on “Nurturing Innovation: AI and Automation to Advance Sustainable Agriculture.” The event aimed to highlight how modern technologies can support sustainable farming and global food security.
Addressing Agricultural Challenges
S Vasiha Anjum, Asst. professor of Bio Chemistry, coordinated the event with enthusiasm. Nearly 200 students from B.Sc. and M.Sc. programs actively participated in the event. The resource person was Professor Chandra Kant Sharma from the School of Agriculture, Mohan Babu University. He explained how artificial intelligence, smart sensors, and automation can improve crop productivity and resource management. The lecture emphasized the importance of integrating biotechnology with engineering and data science to address agricultural challenges.
