National Youth Day Group Discussion at SVIMS, Tirupati

About the Club and Event
The Together We Heal Club, School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, organized a group discussion on National Youth Day. The event was held on 22 January 2026 at the Drug Information Centre, SVIMS, Tirupati. It aimed to honor Swami Vivekananda’s vision and inspire youth for nation building. The program created a platform for students to share ideas on social responsibility and national development.
About the Coordinator and Participants
Bandla Aswani, Assistant Professor, coordinated the event in association with Dept. of Pharmacy practice. Fifteen Pharm D final year students participated actively in the discussion. Students were divided into groups and assigned specific Sustainable Development Goals. They discussed topics such as Quality Education, Gender Equality, Climate Action, Good Health, and Clean Water. Each group presented practical suggestions on how youth can contribute to these goals. The event was organized smoothly and encouraged meaningful dialogue among participants.

Students gained a clear understanding of the importance of Sustainable Development Goals. They realized how youth can play a vital role in addressing social and environmental challenges.
