Mimic Madness: A Joyful Mimicry Celebration

The FYE Club of the MBU organized a lively and entertaining event titled Mimic Madness” on 3rd November 2025, from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM. The event was held as part of the department’s cultural celebrations and took place in a cheerful and engaging atmosphere. It was exclusively designed for the 2nd and 3rd year students of the ECE and EIE departments, aiming to bring out their creative and comic talents.
The main goal of the event “MIMIC MADNESS” was to provide students with a fun-filled platform to express their creativity, humour, and impersonation skills. It encouraged them to step out of their comfort zones, take the stage, and entertain their peers by mimicking well-known personalities, actors, teachers, and public figures. The event was also meant to help students build confidence, improve their stage presence, and enjoy a break from their regular academic routine.
The event was smoothly coordinated by Ms. D. Harika, Faculty Coordinator of the FYE Club, with the enthusiastic support of student coordinators .A total of60 students participated in the event, each bringing their unique style and energy to the stage. Their performances were filled with laughter, wit, and impressive mimicry, keeping the audience thoroughly entertained throughout the session.
Each participant was given a few minutes to perform their act. They showcased not only their ability to imitate voices and gestures but also their timing, expressions, and dialogue delivery. The event created a light-hearted and joyful environment, where students could laugh, cheer, and bond with one another. It was a refreshing experience that added color and excitement to the campus atmosphere.
The participants shared that the event helped them improve their public speaking skills and boosted their confidence. It also gave them a chance to explore their creative side and connect with fellow students in a fun and relaxed setting. Many participants expressed their happiness at being part of such an enjoyable and supportive event.
The organizers extended their heartfelt thanks to all the participants, volunteers, and audience members for making “MIMIC MADNESS” a grand success. They look forward to hosting more such events in the future to keep the spirit of creativity and joy alive on campus.
