Mathemagics Show: A Puzzle-Packed Celebration of Logic and Fun

The Ramanujan Club of MBU organized an exciting and interactive event titled “Mathemagics Show” on 23rd October 2025, from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM in Room No. 4304. The event brought together curious minds to explore the fun side of mathematics through puzzles and creative challenges, turning numbers and logic into a joyful experience.

The main aim of the event was to spark curiosity and enthusiasm among students while promoting logical thinking and problem-solving skills. Through engaging rounds of puzzle-solving, the event encouraged participants to discover the beauty of mathematics in a playful and accessible way. It was designed to show that math isn’t just about formulas—it’s also about creativity, reasoning, and the thrill of solving challenges.

The event was coordinated by Ms. Ch. Bhavitha, Assistant Professor, with support from student coordinators V. Babitha (CSIT III Year), V. Sameer Reddy (CSE II Year), and Uday Kiran (CSE II Year). A total of 64 students participated, showing great energy and enthusiasm throughout the session. Their performance was impressive, with many students demonstrating quick thinking, sharp logic, and a genuine love for solving puzzles.

The Mathemagics Show featured two rounds. The first was the Sudoku Challenge, where students tackled puzzles of varying difficulty, testing their concentration and pattern recognition. The top scorers moved on to the second round, Math Crossword Maze Runner, which blended mathematical clues with maze navigation. Each correct answer unlocked the next step, making the round both adventurous and intellectually stimulating. The activity highlighted how math can be both fun and artistic, with each puzzle revealing a deeper principle behind the magic.

Participants took away a renewed appreciation for mathematics, realizing its role not just in academics but also in creative thinking and everyday problem-solving. The event helped them build confidence, sharpen their analytical skills, and enjoy the process of learning through play.

The organizers expressed heartfelt thanks to all the participants for their active involvement and cheerful spirit. Their enthusiasm made the event a memorable success, and the Ramanujan Club looks forward to hosting more such joyful learning experiences in the future.
