About the Event

The Nutrition Club of the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences celebrated International Women’s Day on 11 March 2026. The event was held at the Pharmacy Block and aimed to honor women’s contributions in society. The program encouraged unity, empowerment, and appreciation among students and staff members.

Bonding Through Fun Games

Dr. Hari V, Associate Professor, School of Pharmacy coordinated , the event.  A total of 75 participants attended and actively engaged in the celebration. II B.Pharmacy students organized and conducted the program with great enthusiasm. They arranged a quiz competition, a mehendi competition, and fun games for female staff and girl students. The quiz enhanced awareness on women-related topics, while the mehendi competition showcased creativity and artistic talent. Fun games created joy and strengthened bonds among participants, making the event lively and memorable.

Feedback

Participants gained awareness about the importance of women’s role in society. They appreciated the opportunity to showcase their talents and interact with peers. The activities promoted empowerment and highlighted the value of teamwork and creativity. Feedback from the 75 student participants showed that the program encouraged knowledge sharing and strengthened the spirit of unity. The organizers expressed gratitude to all participants for their active involvement. The celebration reflected the dedication of students and faculty in promoting empowerment. The Nutrition Club looks forward to organizing more such meaningful events that inspire and unite the community.
