Inspiring Patriotism Through the Lives of Freedom Fighters

About the Club and Event
The Rural Development Club organized an outreach programme on 24 January 2026. The event titled Echoes of Freedom: Inspiring Patriotism Through the Lives of Freedom Fighters, held in government schools across villages. The programme aimed to instil patriotism, national pride, and social responsibility among rural students and young Indians. Students prepared charts and posters depicting the lives and sacrifices of eminent freedom fighters. The visual materials highlighted values of unity, courage, selflessness, and love for the nation.
Coordinator and Participants
K.S. Bharaty, Assistant Professor, coordinated the event. A total of 20 students participated actively in the programme. Students explained the charts and posters to villagers and school children with enthusiasm. They interacted with the community and emphasized respect for national symbols and patriotic values. The programme encouraged discussions on national integrity, social harmony, discipline, and active citizenship. The event created a strong bond between the university and rural communities.
Takeaways by the Participants
