The FYE Club, Department of ECE, successfully organized a vibrant and educational event titled “Who Am I?—Freedom Fighter Edition” on August 13, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, exclusively for 2nd and 3rd EIE year students of the EIE branch. The initiative aimed to celebrate the spirit of patriotism while deepening students’ understanding of India’s freedom struggle in an interactive and enjoyable format.
It was coordinated by Ms. D. Harika, Asst. Professor, Dept. of ECE, along with student coordinators including G. Rupesh Sai, L. Akshay Kumar, Y. Mahendra, D. Govardhan, and E. Karthik Akhil. The event was well-received and is expected to become a cherished tradition in future patriotic celebrations. A total of 40 students actively participated in the event.
The event was structured into three engaging rounds. In the first round, participants answered direct questions about freedom fighters. The second round saw teams competing to identify personalities based on clues, while the third round featured a rapid-fire segment with quick one-liner hints. One of the highlights included players wearing cards on their foreheads with the names of freedom fighters, while others provided clues without revealing the name—such as, “He wore round glasses and led the Salt March,” pointing to Mahatma Gandhi.
The event created a lively learning atmosphere, encouraging students to explore historical narratives and appreciate the sacrifices of national heroes. Winners were awarded certificates and small gifts, adding a celebratory touch to the occasion.
More than just a game, “Who Am I?” served as a powerful educational tool that connected the younger generation with India’s rich legacy.
