Igniting Innovation Through AI and Design Thinking

The TechNova Club of MBU organized a vibrant and idea-driven event titled “INNOVERSE – From Ideas to Intelligence” on 30th October 2025 in Room 353. The one-day event brought together enthusiastic minds to explore the power of artificial intelligence in solving real-world problems. The atmosphere was charged with curiosity, collaboration, and creativity as students gathered to take part in this innovation challenge.

The event was designed to help students think beyond textbooks and apply their knowledge to practical situations. It aimed to encourage participants to identify real-time problems and build AI-based solutions. The event promoted interdisciplinary teamwork, design thinking, and a spirit of innovation. It served as a platform where students could blend creativity with technology and learn how to approach challenges with fresh perspectives.

Vimalraj E, Assistant Professor in CSE Dept., coordinated the event with great dedication. A total of 45 students participated, each bringing their unique ideas and energy to the table. Their performance was commendable—they showed strong teamwork, presented thoughtful solutions, and demonstrated a clear understanding of how AI can be used to make a difference. The event unfolded in three structured levels, allowing participants to refine their ideas step by step.

Throughout the day, students engaged in brainstorming, collaborative design, and hands-on problem-solving. The activity emphasized the importance of structured thinking and practical application. It wasn’t just about competition—it was about learning, sharing, and growing together. The event created a space where ideas could evolve into intelligent solutions, and where students could experience the real impact of their academic learning.

Participants walked away with valuable takeaways. They gained deeper insights into design thinking, improved their presentation and technical skills, and learned how to work effectively in teams. Most importantly, they discovered the joy of innovation and the satisfaction of solving meaningful problems.

The organizers extended heartfelt thanks to all the participants for their enthusiasm and commitment. Their energy and ideas made INNOVERSE a memorable and inspiring experience. The event truly reflected the university’s vision of nurturing future-ready technologists who are driven by purpose, creativity, and collaboration.

The student coordinators played a key role in encouraging participants to dive into brainstorming, collaborative design, and hands-on problem-solving.

 

Immersed in the exchange of ideas, participants found the presenters’ insights both engaging and instrumental in expanding their grasp of design thinking.
