The Sports and Cultural Club of MBU organized a heartfelt event titled “Guru Vandana 2025 – A Tribute to Teachers” on 5th September 2025. The program was held in the spirit of Teacher’s Day and took place in a warm and welcoming setting on campus. It was a special moment where students came together to honor and appreciate their faculty members through creative and meaningful gestures.
The event was aimed at encouraging students to express gratitude towards their teachers. It focused on building a culture of appreciation, respect, and positive communication. Through this initiative, students were inspired to recognize the valuable role teachers play in shaping their academic journey and personal growth. The activity also promoted creativity and teamwork by involving students in designing handmade greeting cards and messages.
Dr. K. Hari Krishna, Associate Professor from the Department of CSE, School of Computing, coordinated the event. A total of 20 students participated with great enthusiasm. They worked together with sincerity and joy, putting their thoughts and emotions into beautifully crafted greeting cards. Their efforts reflected genuine admiration and respect for their teachers, and their performances were appreciated by all.
The activity was simple yet powerful. Students created handmade cards filled with thoughtful messages, drawings, and expressions of gratitude. These cards were then presented to faculty members, creating a warm and emotional atmosphere. The event was not just about art—it was about building stronger bonds between students and teachers. It reminded everyone of the importance of kindness, respect, and heartfelt communication in an academic setting.
Students felt that the event helped them feel more connected to their teachers. It gave them a chance to reflect on the guidance they receive and express their appreciation in a creative way. Many felt that the experience improved their communication skills and taught them the value of teamwork and emotional expression.
At the end of the program, the organizers thanked all the participants for their active involvement and positive spirit. Their contributions made the event truly special. The Club expressed its gratitude to the faculty for their support and looks forward to continuing this tradition in the years to come.
