The Electrical Technical Association and the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering organized a vibrant and intellectually stimulating event titled CINE MASTER’S on 22nd August 2025. Designed around the theme “Movies: Cine Masters,” the event aimed to spark creativity, critical thinking, and communication skills among students. By drawing parallels between cinema and engineering—such as visualization, storytelling, and innovation—the initiative sought to blend entertainment with education, encouraging students to explore learning through a fresh, imaginative lens.
Coordinated by Dr. Rajasekar Thota, Associate Professor, the event welcomed 59 enthusiastic II-Year B. Tech students. Their energy and engagement were evident throughout the session, as they embraced the opportunity to explore cinema as a medium of creativity and innovation. With the guidance of faculty and association mentors, students showcased commendable teamwork, curiosity, and analytical thinking.
The session featured a series of interactive discussions, group presentations, and team-based activities that connected the art of filmmaking to engineering concepts like problem-solving, leadership, and design thinking. Students explored how cinematic techniques—such as narrative structure and visual composition—can mirror engineering processes and foster innovative approaches to learning.
Participants walked away with a deeper appreciation for interdisciplinary learning. The event encouraged cross-domain thinking, enhanced cultural and emotional awareness, and highlighted the value of integrating artistic perspectives into technical education. It also fostered collaboration and enthusiasm, strengthening the students’ connection to academic association activities.
The organizers extended heartfelt gratitude to all participants for their active involvement and contributions. Their enthusiasm reaffirmed the importance of such creative academic engagements, and the success of CINE MASTER’S stands as a testament to the power of blending imagination with intellect. The team looks forward to curating more such experiences that inspire, educate, and empower.
